Jags And Fins Lose In NFL Play

The Miami Dolphins are still winless after dropping a close 20-17 game to the New York Giants on Sunday. The Dolphins are 0-7 while the Giants improve to 5-2.

The Jacksonville Jaguars fall to the Houston Texans on the road 24-14. The Texans improve to 5-2 while the Jags fall to 2-6. The NFL’s worst offense gained only 174 yards on the day.

In other action, the St.Louis Rams, perhaps riding the momentum for the city for the World Champion Cardinals in baseball, pick up their first win by beating New Orleans 31-21. Baltimore comes from 21 down to beat Arizona 30-27; Tennessee keeps Indianapolis winless with a 27-10 win and Cincinnati hammers Seattle 34-12.

Buffalo blanks Washington 23-0; Philadelphia wallops Dallas 34-7 Sunday night; San Francisco beats Cleveland 20-10; Minnesota nips Carolina 24-21; Pittsburgh beats New England 25-17 and Detroit rocks Tim Tebow and Denver 45-10 as he is sacked seven times and his two turnovers led to touchdowns.
