Alabama And LSU Play For BCS National Title Tonight

January 9, 2012

They are SEC West rivals, they played an epic defensive game earlier this year in which LSU came out on top but now Alabama and LSU have to play one more time tonight in New Orleans for the BCS national title.

Most again expect a defensive game as the two SEC powerhouses collide. LSU is unbeaten on the year and Alabama’s only loss came to LSU earlier this season.

Both teams seem healthy for the matchup and Alabama looks for revenge against a Tigers team that has played a very good schedule and beaten everyone on it, including Alabama, Oregon and West Virginia, all BCS bowl teams who won their bowl games.

Both Alabama coach Nick Saban and LSU coach Les Miles are trying to win their second BCS national title with their respective schools with Saban also having won another while coaching at LSU.
