Kentucky Avoids Auburn Upset Bid In Hoops; Gator Women Play Tonight

The second ranked Kentucky Wildcat men’s basketball team survives a road scare by Auburn in beating the Tigers 68-53 Wednesday night.

Kentucky has now won 14 straight against Auburn but the Wildcats had to end the game with a late run to finally put the Tigers away.

In other SEC men’s action, Ole Miss downs Arkansas 71-63 at home and Alabama at home takes care of LSU 69-53.

Meanwhile the Gator women are on the road tonight facing the Georgia Bulldogs. Florida is 1-2 in league play with its only league win coming on the road at Ole Miss. The Gators lost home SEC games to nationally ranked Kentucky and to South Carolina.
