More top college players are opting to leave school early to enter the NFL Draft.
At Oregon, quarterback Darron Thomas will leave early, joining teammate and running back LaMichael James in declaring early for the draft. And it looks like LSU will lose its main deep threat receiver to the NFL Draft as reports surface today that receiver Reuben Randle will leave school early.
Meanwhile Arkansas got some good news when quarterback Tyler Wilson said he will return to the school for his senior season.
And in a coaching move, it looks like Alabama will hire Tennessee linebackers coach Lance Thompson for the same position with the Crimson Tide. Thompson coached under Nick Saban at Alabama once and bolted for Tennessee when Lane Kiffin was named the coach but it looks like he’ll be back for a second run in Tuscaloosa.
And various media reports say former Gator and former New York Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer has been offered that position with the St.Louis Rams under new coach Jeff Fisher.
