Gator Women's Hoops Crushes Alabama

The Florida women’s basketball team squares its SEC record at 3-3 after defeating Alabama 61-37 Thursday night in Gainesville. Florida is also now 13-6 on the year.

Junior post player Jennifer George leads Florida with a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds, her 11th double-double of the season.

Alabama is 10-10 overall and 0-6 in SEC play with the loss. Florida now goes on the road and does not play another home game until February; up next is a Sunday tilt at nationally ranked Kentucky, a team Florida lost to at home earlier this season.
