Four More Men’s Basketball Teams Punch Ticket To Big Dance

Four more teams have qualified for the NCAA men’s basketball tournament today after winning conference championships on Monday.

Virginia Commonwealth, a Final Four team a year ago, is heading back to the tournament after beating Drexel 59-56 in the Colonial League title game.   Loyola-Maryland is dancing after beating Fairfield 49-44 to win the MAAC title game and Saint Mary’s downs Gonzaga 78-74 in overtime to win the West Coast Conference tournament.

And Davidson is in the NCAA Tournament after winning the Southern Conference tournament title.
