Finally, LeBron James can say he is an NBA champion.
James and the Miami Heat vanquish the Oklahoma City Thunder 121-106 Thursday night to win the NBA Finals four games to one and give James that championship.
James did his part too, scoring 26 points, handing out 13 assists and pulling down 11 boards. But in this game, he had a lot of other help too as the Heat pulled away from the Thunder in the second half.
Chris Bosh scored 24 points and Dwayne Wade scored 20 but former Gator Mike Miller was huge as well, hitting seven 3 point shots on his way to a 23 point night.
A young Oklahoma City team lost four games in a row after winning Game 1 of the NBA Finals at home. Still, getting to the NBA Finals was a nice step for a young team led by superstar Kevin Durant who had 32 points in Game 5.
