Gator Wide Receivers Coach Aubrey Hill Resigns
On the day the Gator football team starts practice for the 2012 season, UF announced that wide receivers coach and former Gator player Aubrey Hill has resigned for personal reasons.
In a statement released this morning by UF, Gator coach Will Muschamp said offensive coordinator Brent Pease and graduate assistant Bush Hamdan will coach wide receivers together. Hamdan was a quarterback at Boise State when Pease was also coaching at the school.
Hill’s name has been linked to an ongoing investigation into the University of Miami’s football program where Hill had served as the recruiting coordinator and in Muschamp’s statement, he said Hill’s resignation had “nothing to do with the University of Florida.”
