A relatively light day at the Summer Olympics Tuesday but there will be some good things to watch on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Usain Bolt qualified for the 200 meter final; he has already won the 100 meters championship.   The U.S. women’s basketball team made it to the semifinals after blowing out Canada 91-48 and will now face Australia, the team it has lost to in the last three gold medal games.

As far as Gators in the Summer Games, three Gators performed Tuesday and all made it to the finals of their events.   Christian Taylor and Will Claye qualified for the Thursday final in the triple jump while Shara Proctor qualified for today’s final in the women’s long jump.

Today also features action in men’s basketball and also the gold medal game in women’s beach volleyball.
