Gator offensive coordinator Brent Pease was frustrated Saturday during Florida’s win at home over Bowling Green; so much so, he let go a few curse words that were unfortunately caught on camera.
Pease apologized for his choice of words and said he had to apologize to his mother who was watching the game. The Gator offense sputtered at times during its win over the Falcons and Pease is hopeful of a better performance this week at Texas A&M.
Gator coach Will Muschamp said after the game that on third and short situations he overturned what Pease wanted to call at times, trying to run the ball to establish some toughness. Pease on Tuesday said it was no big deal and that he needed to do a better job in some situations to make the offense more successful.
Muschamp said the offensive playbook would be opened up more this week with a starting quarterback named and with a chance to evaluate what wrong and right after the first game and Pease said he would work to create better play calls for the team to become more productive on first and second down.
