Gator Football Preview

The 18th ranked Florida Gators  take on the 23rd ranked Tennessee Volunteers this Saturday in Neyland Stadium. Florida, fresh off its first SEC win looks to remain undefeated in conference play against a team they have beaten the past seven years. Tennessee head coach Derek Dooley says recent history will not determine the outcome of this game.

Being in a top tier conference, both teams know getting SEC wins is huge.   With the rivalry renewed and College Gameday storming into town Dooley speaks on the rivalry and SEC games.

The Gators know that it will be hard to go to Knoxville and come back with a win but is not an impossible task. Gator defensive linemen Omar Hunter expects the team to carry momentum over from last weeks game.

Momentum is nice, but the Gators will also need to play solid defense in order to stop a prolific passer such as Tennessee quarterback  Tyler Bray. Hunter says it will be important to pressure on Bray.

Tune in to ESPN radio 850/900 on Saturday starting at 3 P.M. for the First And Ten pregame show leading you into kickoff at 6.  Stay tuned for the Extra Point post game show beginning at 10:30 P.M.
