** Several media outlets are reporting today that Gator men’s basketball verbal commitment Schuyler Rimmer will reopen his recruitment.   The 6’9″ power forward had given his verbal commitment last month and Florida now has two verbals in its 2013 class in power forward Chris Walker and guard Kasey Hill.

** An NFL icon has passed away; Steve Sabol, who along with his father Ed founded NFL Films, died Tuesday from brain cancer at the age of 69.   The Sabols were honored with Lifetime Achievement Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts And Sciences in 2003.
