** Perhaps with the final blow being the Monday Night Football replacement referee debacle, the NFL and its regular officials have agreed tentatively on a new agreement that will have regular officials working starting with tonight’s games.
** More NFL news…New England coach Bill Belichick is hit with a reported $50,000 fine by the NFL for grabbing an official’s arm at the end of the Patriots game Sunday night with Baltimore after a game ending field goal was declared good by replacement officials.
** Tonight’s game in the NFL has the Cleveland Browns facing the Baltimore Ravens.
** The Ryder Cup will soon be underway. Davis Love III is the U.S. captain while Jose Maria Olazabal is the European captain; the Europeans have won four of the last five Ryder Cup matches.
