Gators Football Turns Attention To Missouri

After falling to the Georgia Bulldogs in Jacksonville, the 8th ranked Florida football team looks to get back on track this weekend when it hosts Southeastern Conference newcomer Missouri.  Gators head coach Will Muschamp says despite making mistakes against the Bulldogs he was happy with his team’s effort.

Muschamp adds it is important for his team to move forward and not dwell on the loss.

Florida can still win the SEC Eastern division with a victory over Missouri and a Georgia loss.  However, Florida sophomore quarterback Jeff Driskel says the team can’t worry about what’s going on with other teams.

In injury news, Muschamp says wide receiver Solomon Patton is out for the season after suffering a broken left arm in Saturday’s loss to the Bulldogs.  Other players who were banged up like offensive lineman Xavier Nixon and linebacker Lerentee McCray are expected back at practice this week.

Kickoff for Saturday’s game against Missouri is at 12pm.  Catch all the action on ESPN Radio 850/900 starting with the First and Ten Pregame show at 9am.
