Gator Football Notes…

Some news of interest from Gator coach Will Muschamp’s weekly press conference held on Monday…

** Defensive tackle Jafar Mann is transferring by mutual consent of player and coach.   He is a true freshman who has not seen any action this year.

** Game time has been set for next week’s game against Jacksonville State; it will be a pay per view game at 1pm.

** Muschamp said many of the injured players from last week like kicker Caleb Sturgis, linebacker Lerentee McCray, offensive linemen Xavier Nixon, James Wilson and Jon Halapio, wide receiver Andre Debose and safety Matt Elam are all probable for this weekend.   Running back Mack Brown may be out with a bad ankle.

** And when asked about the future of backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett with the team, Muschamp said he expected him to be a Gator.

Florida plays Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday.
