The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Jacksonville Jaguars were involved in overtime NFL games on Sunday and one comes out a winner and another a loser.
The Bucs move to 6-4 after coming from behind to beat Carolina 27-21 as tight end Dallas Clark catches an OT touchdown pass from Josh Freeman to get the win.
The Jags were not as fortunate as they lose at Houston 43-37 in overtime on a Matt Schaub touchdown pass to Andre Johnson; Schaub threw for 527 yards in the game, the second most in NFL history. The loss drops the Jags to 1-9 while Houston improves to 9-1.
In other NFL games, Atlanta is also 9-1 after slipping by Arizona 23-19; the Falcons overcome five interceptions thrown by Matt Ryan to get the win. Denver is 7-3 and atop the AFC West after beating San Diego 30-23 and Baltimore is 8-2 after nipping Pittsburgh 13-10. And New England is 7-3 and atop the AFC East after ripping the Indianapolis Colts 59-24.
The other NFL winners Sunday are the New York Jets, Green Bay, Cincinnati, Washington, and Dallas. Monday Night Football has the Chicago Bears facing the San Francisco 49ers.
