The numbers who are making official visits to Florida this weekend aren’t large but one player in particular visiting this weekend would be a great addition to the Gator class if he were to commit.
Florida will get official visits this weekend from several verbal commitments to the program but the most talked about visit might come from defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche, an Ole Miss verbal who originally was not scheduled to visit UF.
However, several Gator recruits convinced Nkemdiche to visit but Florida will face an uphill battle to get his services. Nkemdiche’s brother already plays for Ole Miss and he will have two other visits, to LSU and Ole Miss, to make before making a decision.
Also scheduled to visit UF this weekend is fullback Kennard Swanson of Lakeland and defensive end Tashawn Bower from New Jersey, an Auburn verbal commit.
Florida currently has 27 verbal commitments.
