UF LAX Travels North to Take on Tenth Ranked Penn State

The second-ranked Florida Gators lacrosse team (13-0, 1-0 ALC) are wheels up to State College, Penn. to take on the tenth ranked Penn State Nittany Lions (6-3, 1-0 ALC) in conference play on Saturday. The Gators are coming off a hard-fought win against ALC foe Ohio State 13-7 last Saturday, and have had the week to prepare for Penn State uninterrupted.

Florida holds a 4-0 advantage in the all-time series with the teams, meeting twice last season. Despite the record however, Gators head coach Amanda O’Leary says the road game at Penn State will be a challenge.

Senior attack Kitty Cullen leads Florida with 39 points this season on 29 goals and 10 assists, while Penn State is led by sophomore attack Maggie McCormick with 41 points on 24 goals and 17 assists.

Opening draw is set for noon with coverage starting right here on ESPN Radio 850/900 at 11:50 a.m .Saturday morning.
