** The Gator gymnastics team, fresh off its national championship win at the NCAA Championships this past weekend in Los Angeles, will host a National Championship Celebration tonight at 7pm in the O’Connell Center; admission is free.
** Other Gator results finds Gator women’s tennis winning the SEC Tournament Championship while Gator men’s golf finishes 10th at the SEC’s and women’s golf finishes 13th.
** The long awaited trade of New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis finally happens as he goes to the Tampa Bay Bucs for a first round pick in this year’s NFL Draft and a conditional pick next year. Revis agrees to a new contract with Tampa Bay.
** Matt Kenseth wins the NASCAR race in Kansas City Sunday as he beats Kasey Kahne for the checkered flag.
** The Tampa Bay Rays sweep the Oakland A’s with an 8-1 win on Sunday; the Rays now host the New York Yankees in a series beginning tonight as the Rays are now 8-10 on the year. Miami loses 10-6 to fall to 4-15 while the Atlanta Braves lost their third straight game, losing to Pittsburgh 4-2. Atlanta is at Colorado tonight.
