** Atlanta Braves pitcher Tim Hudson gets career win number 200 Tuesday as the Braves knock off Washington 8-1. The Braves also have the best record in the National League at 17-9. In other action, Miami edges New York 2-1 while Tampa Bay loses to Kansas City 8-2.
** Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon has been suspended four games by the NFL for violating the league’s drug policy. It is his second violation in less than a year.
** In the NBA Playoffs, the LA Clippers are at the brink of elimination after losing 103-93 to Memphis; the Grizzlies lead the series 3-2. And Denver staves off elimination by beating Golden State 107-100 but still trail 3-2 in the series.
** In NBA Playoff action tonight, New York tries to close out Boston and Oklahoma City tries to do the same with Houston. Indiana faces Atlanta with that series tied at 2-2.
** The Gator tennis teams will both host first and second round NCAA Tournament action. The Gator women, two time defending NCAA champions, are the number one seed and will face Marist in the first round. Georgia Tech and Yale are also in the field. The Gator men will face Denver in first round action.
