** LeBron James hit a layup with under a second left in overtime to give the Miami Heat a 103-102 overtime NBA playoff game win over the Indiana Pacers. Game 2 is set for Miami.
** The Atlanta Braves are now 28-18 after sweeping the Minnesota Twins, winning 8-3 Wednesday. Miami lost to Philadelphia 3-0 and Tampa Bay lost at Toronto 4-3.
** The Florida women’s golf team is in 19th place at the NCAA Championships after two rounds of play.
** Former Gator offensive lineman Max Starks leaves the Pittsburgh Steelers and signs with the San Diego Chargers. Veteran Charles Woodson signs for his second tour of duty with Oakland.
