** The Gator football team moves up to 17th in this week’s USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll as it gets set to face 11th ranked LSU in Baton Rouge this Saturday.
** Meanwhile some bad news for the Georgia football team as it loses running back Keith Marshall and receiver Justin Scott-Wesley for the season after both tore their ACL’s in a win over Tennessee Saturday.
** The Gator soccer and volleyball teams post wins Sunday; soccer downs Auburn 3-0 and volleyball remains unbeaten in SEC play with a win at Alabama.
** It looks like free agent quarterback Josh Freeman is going to end up signing with the Minnesota Vikings. Freeman was recently released by Tampa Bay.
** Monday Night Football tonight finds the Atlanta Falcons hosting the NY Jets with both teams needing wins after getting off to slow starts to the season.
** Kevin Harvick wins the NASCAR race in Kansas and makes a move in the Chase For The Cup. He is now within 25 points of the lead.
