** Teams like FSU and Ohio State are happy today because BCS number two Oregon loses to number five Stanford 26-20 Thursday night. Meanwhile Baylor remains unbeaten after ripping Oklahoma 41-12 as well.
** In high school football GHS loses a rare home game, a 31-18 loss to Wakulla on Thursday. The Canes however are in the playoffs starting next week. Santa Fe is also a big winner, 34-7 over Keystone Heights, a team that is also going to the playoffs.
** In the NFL, Minnesota downs Washington 34-27 to get their second win of the season on Thursday.
** The Gator soccer team is in the semi-finals of the SEC Tournament Friday, taking on Ole Miss.
** The Chicago Cubs have officially named San Diego Padres bench coach Rick Renteria as their new manager.
** The Miami Heat knock off the LA Clippers 102-97 as Dwyane Wade scores 29 points. Miami is off Friday before hosting Boston Saturday while Orlando hosts the Celtics Friday.
