Top-Ranked Gator Softball Hosts Central Connecticut State for Non-conference Matchup

After a rollercoaster weekend against 25th ranked LSU, the top ranked Florida softball team?(28-2, 4-2 SEC) looks to get its bearings at home. The Gators will host Central Connecticut State (9-4, 0-0 NEC) on Tuesday,?followed by a home weekend series against ninth ranked Alabama.

Tuesday’s meeting marks the first meeting for the Gators and Blue Knights.

The Orange and Blue (24-0) are the only Southeastern Conference team with a perfect out-of-conference record this season.

First pitch from Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium is scheduled for 6 p.m.
