** The SEC Baseball Tournament starts today with four games up in Hoover, Alabama. Top seeded Florida plays tomorrow against the winner of today’s game between Kentucky and Alabama.
** The Florida women’s tennis team loses 4-0 to UCLA in the NCAA Tournament semi-finals.
** In the NBA playoffs, San Antonio wins at home 122-105 in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. Tim Duncan scores 27 points in the win. Tonight, Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals where Indiana, up 1-0, hosts Miami.
** In the NHL playoffs, the New York Rangers beat Montreal 3-1 to go up 2-0 in that Eastern Conference final series. Wednesday, Chicago hosts the LA Kings in the Western Conference final up 1-0.
** California Chrome will make a run for the Triple Crown after all as officials with the New York Racing Commission approved the horse to wear the nasal strip it has worn while winning the first two legs of the Triple Crown, the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness.
** Former Gator football offensive lineman Jon Halapio, a sixth round pick by New England in this year’s NFL Draft, has agreed to a contract with the team.
** NFL owners today will decide the site of the Super Bowl for 2018; the candidates are Indianapolis, Minneapolis or New Orleans.
** In baseball, Atlanta tops Milwaukee 9-3 and the teams will play again today. Miami begins a series with Philadelphia and Tampa Bay is at home against Oakland.
