U.S. Advances In World Cup Play

Despite a 1-0 loss to Germany on Thursday, the United States will advance to the round of 16 in the FIFA World Cup. The U.S. advances from Group G on goal differential with Portugal.

The next match up for the United States will be on Tuesday and the competition will be the winner of Group H, probably Belgium.
