Friday Sports Update (9/19)

Auburn survives in college football, a blow out in the NFL, high school football and a bunch of Gator sports in our Friday Sports Update…

** Nationally ranked Auburn traveled to nationally ranked Kansas State and escapes with a 20-14 win to stay unbeaten.

** In the NFL, Atlanta blows out Tampa Bay 56-14 as the Bucs stay winless at 0-3.

** The Jacksonville Jaguars have their first home game of the season Sunday when they host the Indianapolis Colts.  Miami hosts Kansas City.

** In high school football, Eastside High gets its first win of the year by beating district rival Belleview 41-22.   A lot more games are scheduled tonight.

** Lots of Gator sports this weekend besides football.   Gator volleyball, cross country and men’s tennis are at home while men’s golf and soccer are on the road.

** In baseball, Washington beats Miami 6-2 and those teams will play this weekend.   Atlanta starts a series with the New York Mets while Tampa Bay hosts the Chicago White Sox.
