Thursday Night High School Football Results, More Local Games On The Slate Tonight

In Thursday night lights, the Buchholz Bobcats fell short to the Jacksonville Atlantic Coast Stingrays in a 31-28 loss. The Bobcats (3-6, 1-3) hope to end the season on a high note when they host the Fort White Indians next week.

Meanwhile, the Oak Hall Eagles got blanked by John Paul II Catholic in a 34-0 home loss. St. Francis Catholic also suffered a shutout loss, falling to St. Stephen’s Episcopal 35-0.

** The Gainesville Hurricanes (5-3, 4-0) will play Tallahassee Lincoln (6-1, 2-0) at Santa Fe High School tonight. The game was scheduled for Thursday night but was called due to weather. Kick off is set for 7 p.m.

** The Eastside Rams (3-5, 3-2) have been eliminated from playoff contention in district 5A-5 but nonetheless will play their final district game against the Santa Fe Raiders (5-3, 2-3) tonight at Citizen’s Field. Kickoff coming at 7:30 p.m.

** The Dixie County Bears (7-0, 3-0) look to maintain their unblemished record when they host rival Chiefland (4-5, 1-2). Kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.

** The P.K. Yonge Blue Wave (4-3, 0-2) have playoff chances on the line with a win tonight against the Maclay Marauders (3-5, 1-1). Kickoff from Tallahassee is set for 7:00 p.m.

** Keystone Heights (0-7-1, 0-3) is still looking for their first win and can get it tonight when they travel to Bradford (1-7, 1-2). Kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.

** The Columbia Tigers (6-2, 4-1) have locked up a playoff spot but will look to keep up the momentum when they face the Middleburg Broncos (3-5, 2-3). Kickoff from Lake City coming at 7:30 p.m.
