** The Florida women’s basketball team hosts Charleston Southern tonight, trying to bounce back from a road loss at St. John’s; you can hear the game live on ESPN 850 WRUF starting at 6:45 pm.
** The Florida men’s basketball team is heading to the Bahamas for a tournament; UF starts play tomorrow against Georgetown.
** Florida junior offensive lineman Tyler Moore will skip his senior season and enter the NFL Draft, joining fellow junior Dante Fowler.
** Gator football coach Will Muschamp said Monday he has not been contacted about a new job as of yet; he will coach his final game with UF Saturday against FSU. Rumors fly that he could end up as a defensive coordinator in the SEC at schools like South Carolina, Auburn or Texas A&M.
** In the NBA, Cleveland rips Orlando 106-74 and Philadelphia remains winless at 0-14 after losing 114-104 to Portland.
** In the NFL, Baltimore tops New Orleans 34-27 on Monday Night Football and Buffalo wallops the New York Jets 38-3 in the game they could not play in Buffalo because of snow.
** The Boston Red Sox apparently have signed two big free agents in former Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval and LA Dodger infielder Hanley Ramirez.
