Muschamp New Defensive Coordinator At Auburn

Former Gator football coach Will Muschamp, after being fired at Florida, was not unemployed long, as he accepts a job as Auburn’s new defensive coordinator.

A statement was released to confirm the announcement.

Reports had surfaced that Muschamp had interviewed for the vacant head coaching position at Houston but many believe Ohio State assistant Tom Herman is the favorite for that job.

Many believed there was a chance that Muschamp could go to South Carolina as its defensive coordinator but that job never did become officially open.

There are reports that current Florida defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson could join Muschamp at Auburn.  Robinson is an Auburn alum.
