Friday Sports Update (12/19)

The Jacksonville Jaguars get a win, a big NBA trade, some Gator news and more in our Friday Sports Update…

** The Jacksonville Jaguars get their third win of the season Thursday night with a 21-13 home win over Tennessee.   The Titans now only have two wins on the season.

** The two other Florida NFL teams play Sunday; Miami faces Minnesota while Tampa Bay plays Green Bay.

** In Gator football news, interim coach D.J. Durkin says Bryan Cox Jr. will miss Florida’s bowl game because of a hip injury and says senior tight end Jake McGee will petition the NCAA for another year of eligibility after hurting his knee in the opening game of this past season.

** The Gator basketball teams play this weekend; the Gator men play Wake Forest Saturday and the Gator women face Southern University on Sunday.

** In the NBA, a big trade sends Boston guard Rajon Rondo to the Dallas Mavericks in a multi-player deal; the Celtics will get draft choices as well.
