Driskel To Play Final Season At Louisiana Tech?

Several media outlets are reporting today that former Florida quarterback Jeff Driskel will transfer to Louisiana Tech to play his final college football season.

Driskel asked for and received permission to transfer from new Florida football coach Jim McElwain.   Driskel did play for the Gators in their bowl game when starting quarterback Treon Harris went down with an injury and helped Florida to a win over East Carolina.

If Driskel makes this move, he would join other former Florida quarterbacks like Tyler Murphy (Boston College) and Jacoby Brissett (NC State) that left the Florida program to transfer to another school to play.
