Gator Baseball, Softball Win, Other Gator Sports In Action Too

A lot of Gator sports activity last night and today.

** On Friday, the Florida baseball team improves to 8-1 on the year with a 1-0 win over Stony Brook.   Logan Shore got the win on the mound, pitching into the seventh inning while JJ Schwarz drove in the only Gator run.   The teams play again today.

** The top ranked Florida softball team is playing in a tournament in California and it came away with two wins Friday, downing second ranked Oregon 3-0 and Cal Poly 6-1.  More games on tap today.

** The Florida men’s basketball team is home today facing Tennessee; you can hear live coverage of the game on Country 103-7 The Gator at 5:25 pm.   The Gators are looking to get a much needed SEC win with just three league games left in the season.

** The Florida lacrosse team faces Dartmouth today.   UF is 3-1 on the season.

** The Florida women’s tennis team downs Alabama 4-1 in Gainesville Friday.   UF will host Auburn Sunday.

** The Gator track teams are at the SEC Indoor Track Championships through the weekend.

** The Florida women’s basketball team plays its final regular season game of the year at home Sunday against Georgia.   The SEC Tournament begins next week.
