Gator Baseball Hosts Bethune-Cookman In Midweek Matchup
Last time Florida and Bethune-Cookman met on the diamond, Gator pitcher Jonathan Crawford no-hit the Wildcats. That was in 2012 in the NCAA Tournament. The two teams will reunite on the field Tuesday night in a
midweek showdown. After sweeping the Mississippi State Bulldogs on the road this past weekend the 31 and 10 Gators will look to give Bethune-Cookman their 30th loss on the season. Offensively Florida has been solid in their last few outings especially with the newly risen Peter Alonso who had a big weekend in Mississippi. Alonso finished the weekend with two homers on Sunday. No starter has been named for the orange and blue but consistent midweek starter Alex Faedo has made his way into the weekend rotation.
