USF is 29-18-1 and earlier this year lost to UF 13-3. ** The Billy Donovan Era at Florida is officially over after Donovan’s farewell press conference yesterday. Now the process starts to find his replacement. ** In the NFL, former Gator tight end Clay Burton was signed to a free agent deal by Buffalo and running back Jeff Demps was released by Indianapolis. Defensive lineman Darius Cummings was signed by Carolina. ** In the NBA playoffs tonight, Washington is at Atlanta up 1-0 and Memphis is at Golden State down 1-0. Last night, Chicago beat Cleveland and the LA Clippers beat Houston on the road. ** In the NHL playoffs, Washington beats New York 1-0 to go up 2-1 in the series and tonight Chicago is at Minnesota and Anaheim visits Calgary.

** In baseball, Tampa Bay beats slumping Boston 5-1 while Philadelphia tops Atlanta 5-2 and Washington beats Miami 6-4.
