A Busch event in NASCAR, LeBron a free agent, MLB results and more in our Monday Sports Update…

** It was a Busch event at the NASCAR race in California yesterday as Kyle Busch takes the checkered flag and beats out Kurt Busch to get the win.

** LeBron James, as expected, has opted out of his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers to become a free agent.   However, he is expected to sign a new deal with the team.

** Former Gator hoops star Scottie Wilbekin is conducting a camp/clinic at The Rock School starting today.

** Bubba Watson wins in a playoff at the PGA’s Traveler’s Championship in Connecticut.   He beat Paul Casey.

** Wimbledon starts today and will run through July 12 in England.

** In MLB results, Boston downs Tampa Bay 5-3; Atlanta beats Pittsburgh 2-1 and Miami loses 2-0 to the LA Dodgers.   The Marlins and Braves are off tonight while the Rays start a series with Cleveland.
