The fifth ranked Gator volleyball team is now 9-2 on the year after losing to 24th ranked Kentucky 3-1 at the O’Connell Center Sunday afternoon.
Although it was a loss for the team, Florida sophomore and outside hitter Carli Snyder won herself a career-high of 14 digs.
“It was a battle of two strong SEC teams and they came out on top tonight,” she said.
Florida coach Mary Wise says that the game plan on how to beat the Gators is out there now.
“What Kentucky was able to do is show our weakness that we’ve been able to disguise with our blocking,” Wise said.
Looking forward, the Gators head to Missouri this Wednesday to take on Tigers at 7 p.m.
