Two AFC teams are looking for a crucial win headed into this weekend of NFL action. The Miami Dolphins hope home field advantage will lead them to a victory over the Houston Texans Sunday. The Dolphins are coming off a 38-10 win over the Tennessee Titans last week, while the Texans also came away with a win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The winning effort from the Dolphins was led by interim head coach Dan Campbell who replaced Joe Philbin after the Dolphins lost to the Jets October 4th. So far the new coach believes the team is responding well and says if they come with the will to win as they did last weekend, they will be successful.

The Dolphins looked rejuvenated in their win against the Titans as the Dolphins defense recorded six sacks and Miami running back Lamar Miller rushed for 113 yards and one touchdown. Unfortunately for the Dolphins, defensive end Cameron Wake who registered four of the team’s six sacks, is listed as probable for the upcoming game after being banged up last weekend.
In the Houston Texans 31-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer went 24 of 36 for 293 yards while receiver DeAndre Hopkins had 148 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the victory.
Each AFC team will vie for their third win of the season as the Houston Texans sit at 2-4 and the Miami Dolphins sit at 2-3.
Kickoff at Sun Life Stadium is set for 1pm.
