After starting the season 4-1 it has been downhill for the Missouri Tigers in 2015. Missouri has dropped their last three games in difficult fashion to Florida, Georgia, and in their last game against Vanderbilt. With no shot at winning the SEC East, Missouri is fighting for the potential to make a bowl game and end their season in positive fashion. The 4-4 Tigers need to win two of their next four games in order to be bowl eligible and it wont be easy.
Mississippi State will travel to Missouri with something to prove this Thursday. The Bulldogs are coming off three consecutive wins and want to keep their momentum. Head coach Dan Mullen thinks that Missouri is going to be a more than worthy opponent.
Much like Missouri, the Bulldogs of Mississippi State are coming off a bye week and that certainly will benefit Dan Mullen and company. Mullen is ready to get back on the field.
Mississippi State should have their hands full this week when they face a hungry Missouri team. Missouri’s record doesn’t show it but they have been competitive all season. Even in a matchup at home against a top 10 team Florida they fought until the bitter end. Mizzou head coach Gary Pinkel says its only a matter of time until they put it together.
You can watch Missouri take on Mississippi State Thursday night at 9:00.
