Sophomore middle blocker Rhamat Alhassan was named a First Team All-American by the AVCA, while junior right side Alex Holston made the Third Team.
Alhassan led the team in points and blocks, with 485.5 and 189, respectively. Holston registered 381 kills, ten more than any other Gator.
Rounding out the honorees were Mackenzie Dagostino, Ziva Recek, and Carli Synder, who were named Honorable Mention All-Americans.
Head coach Mary Wise spoke about the senior Dagostino’s growth throughout the season earlier this week on Sportscene with Steve Russell.
Dagostino was far and away the team’s top assister, with 1286 assists, over 1000 more than any other Gator. She also led Florida in aces with 32.
Fellow senior Recek was third on the team in both points and kills, with 338 and 284, respectively. Snyder, a sophomore, recorded the third most blocks on the team with 246.
