The Miami Heat ended their four-game losing streak last night, beating the Chicago Bulls 89-84.
The Heat played without big-time scorers Goran Dragic and Hassan Whiteside due to injuries. However, this didn’t stop Miami from gaining a victory over the Bulls.
Dwayne Wade was the Heat’s leading scorer for the night, totaling 28 points and five assists. After his team had lost their past four games, Wade knew that they needed a win in the worst way last night.
Another key player for the Heat included forward Chris Bosh. With the game tied 84-84 late in the fourth quarter, Bosh drilled in a bucket to put Miami up two points. From then on, the Heat kept their lead throughout the rest of the game.
Less than a minute after Bosh put Miami up 86-84, Wade got the ball and made a big shot to put Miami up 88-84 with 22 seconds left.
With a win in Chicago, the Heat improved to 24-21. Tonight they play the 12-33 Brooklyn Nets in Miami. Miami has currently won three-straight against the Nets in Brooklyn and five of the last six overall games.
Tip-off for tonight’s game is set for 7:30 p.m.
