SEC PREVIEW: Auburn to Face Ole Miss
The Auburn Tigers (9-9, 3-4 SEC) will play against the Ole Miss Rebels (12-7, 2-5 SEC) tonight in Oxford as they look to bounce back from their 34 point loss to the Florida Gators on Saturday.
The Tigers are 1-6 on the road so far this season and will be playing a Rebels team that has dropped its last four games, all of them against SEC opponents.
The Rebels hope to have their leading scorer, guard Stefan Moody, back against the Tigers after he missed the previous game with a strained left hamstring. Guard Martavious Newby (right eye), and forward Sebastian Saiz (detached retina) are also doubtful to play with their respective injuries.
Guard Kareem Canty, the leading scorer for Auburn, will look to lead the Tigers over Ole Miss despite their dismal road record. Canty is averaging about 19 points per game, while shooting 42 percent from the field.
Tip-off for the game is set for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
