The Miami Heat will face their Southeast Division rivals the Atlanta Hawks tomorrow night in their first game back after the All- Star break. Miami is currently one back from Atlanta in the Southeast Division before their Friday match up. The Heat are sitting at fifth in the Eastern Conference and still have hopes for their play to improve to have a better play off position. For a team that has had so much success in the past, this season, it has been hard for the Heat to string together four consecutive wins. January was a tough month, with a hard road schedule but they finished the month winning four games in a row. However, They went into the All-Star break losing two straight home games. The break came at a good time for Miami to regroup as a team in hopes of a better second half of the season and being play off contenders.
There are more questions for Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh. Bosh is averaging 20 points and 7.4 rebounds for the Heat this season. He was unable to play in the All-Star game due to pain in his calf, but remained in Toronto to cheer on his teammates.
Bosh’s former teammate Lebron James says that he texted him to tell him how sorry he was about his condition because he means so much to the Heat family. They were Miami Heat teammates for four years and won two NBA titles in 2012 and 2013.
The Heat will travel to Atlanta tomorrow to take on the Hawks. Tip off in the Philips Arena is set for 8:00 p.m.
