Preview: No. 2 Gator Gymnastics Host No. 7 LSU Tigers in an SEC Matchup

Florida Gymnastics (6-1, 4-1 SEC) will take on the LSU Tigers (8-2, 4-1 SEC) tonight in another top-10 match-up. The Gators hosted No. 5 UCLA on Jan. 12, another No. 5 Alabama on Jan. 29 and No. 9 Arkansas earlier this month.

The hosts are undefeated at home with three wins under their belt. The last two times these teams faced each other, the then No. 3 ranked Tigers came up with the win both times.

Both teams are fierce opponents with LSU posting the nation’s fourth-highest total of 2016 with their 197.825-197.125 win over No. 8 Auburn. Florida posted the nation’s fifth-highest total defeating Missouri with a 197.75-196.65 win last week.

Florida’s Alicia Boren will be one to watch tonight. The Freshman claimed her fourth SEC Freshman of the Week Honor on Tuesday.
