Miami Heat Fall to Milwaukee Bucks 114-108

March 10, 2016

After stringing together five consecutive wins for the first time this season, the Milwaukee Bucks snapped the Miami Heat’s longest winning streak of the season after winning 114-108 on Wednesday. For the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 24 points, Jabari Parker put up 23 points and Khris Middleton added 22 points and a game high eight assists.

Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra says Milwaukee was the more aggressive team who put on relentless pressure and never stopped attacking. Luol Deng had 20 points and 11 points and Hassan Whiteside scored 23 points and added 13 rebounds for the Heat, while Dwayne Wade had 18 points. That wasn’t enough for Miami to pull out a win.

The Heat had a 92-89 lead in the start of the fourth quarter, but the Bucks answered with an 8-0 run that eventually gave Milwaukee the momentum to win. Spoelstra says the Heat has to keep moving forward and get ready for Chicago on Friday.

Miami now moves to 37-27 on the season and this loss moved them further away from the Celtics who are third in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

Up next, the Heat will travel to Chicago to take on the Bulls Friday at 8 p.m.
