
PREVIEW: Florida Women’s Tennis Travel to Play No. 37 Ole Miss and No. 22 Mississippi State
The 13th ranked Florida women’s tennis hits the road this weekend to play two matches in Mississippi. They play the Ole Miss Rebels Friday night in Oxford and Mississippi State in Starkville on Sunday. The Gators are 9-2 overall with a 1-2 away record. Gator coach Roland Thornqvist says he is hoping his team will be able to take on the pressure.

Ole Miss has a 8-3 overall record and are 5-1 at home. As for their history with Florida, the Orange and Blue lead 43-3.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs are 11-3 overall and 2-2 in SEC play.
The Gators are undefeated in SEC play and are currently on a four game winning streak, defeating fifth ranked Vanderbilt last weekend at home. Senior Brianna Morgan recently moved up to number three singles for Florida and she is on a four game winning streak. Coach Thornqvist says it’s exciting to have the team on the road and both teams will be a challenge.
Florida is currently 4-0 in league play.
