Hawthorne Bests PK Yonge; Former Player And Coach Reunite On Home Turf

Hawthorne coach Cornelius Ingram led his team to their first win over P.K. Yonge High School Friday night since he took over the football head coaching position for the Hornets.

The 32-12 victory was more than another “W” on the season. Ingram, a Hawthorne and University of Florida alum, was matched up with his former high school football coach Kent Johnson, who coached from the opposite side of the field for the Blue Wave.
