NFL Preview: Jaguars and Colts Face Off in London

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts will play in Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday for their Week 4 match up. This game will be the first of three played by the NFL in London this regular season.

The Jags are currently 0-3 for the season, with quarterback Blake Bortles already having six interceptions. The Jags are still looking for the Bortles from last year, the guy who sat just behind Tom Brady with 35 passing touchdowns. The team fell to the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday with a final score 19-17. Bortles threw three interceptions and had two touchdown passes.

Jacksonville also has a list of injuries that aren’t helping their case. Jags head coach Gus Bradley said running back Chris Ivory is improving with conditioning, though he is still questionable to start in London.  Former Gator Dante Fowler has a shoulder injury and did not practice on Wednesday and cornerback Prince Amukamara has a hamstring injury and was limited in practice.

The Colts won their first game of the season last Sunday against the Chargers with a 26-22 victory and are now 1-2 for the season. Quarterback Andrew Luck threw for 331 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Luck managed to find some magic with wide receiver T.Y. Hilton, hitting him with a game winning touchdown pass in the last minute or so of the game to avoid going 0-3 on the season.

A win for either team could be very important, seeing as both teams compete in the AFC South. Luck says he isn’t concerned about where the team plays and he sees London as just a regular game.

In 2015, the Colts defeated the Jags in an OT victory 16-13, with Luck out with a shoulder injury. But in Jacksonville, the Jags came away with a big 51-16 victory.

Kickoff is set for 9:30am ET and can be watched on CBS.
