Jags Hold Off Colts For First Win Of The Season

The Jacksonville Jaguars have won their last two games… in London. Last year they defeated the Buffalo Bills and yesterday they beat the Indianapolis Colts. This win actually gave them their first win of the 2016 season after starting off the year 0-3.

The Jags beat the Colts 30-27 behind Blake Bortles’ 207 yards, two TD’s and one rushing TD. The Jaguars never looked back after striking first, leading for the entire game. The Colts tried to rally at the end of the game  by scoring three touchdowns in the fourth quarter, but were held off by the Jags defense.

Last week, the Jags blew the lead late in the game against the Ravens and lost 19-17. The Jags had not been as aggressive as they should have been the first three games, and head coach Gus Bradley credits the team for attacking more from the get-go in this game on their way to victory.

The team will come back to the states and rest this week as they head into their bye week.

Bortles and the Jags will face the Chicago Bears on the road in Week Six for their next game. Chicago is also coming off of their first win of the season.
