The red-hot Fort White Indians are set to take on the 10-0 Madison County Cowboys in the Class 1A Regional Finals.

The Indians are 9-2 and currently riding a seven-game win streak, beating their opponents by an average of 27 points. Quarterback Demetric Jackson Jr. has 1,282 passing yards, 12 touchdowns and 2 interceptions on 56% of his passes. Running back Jacquez Pelham, meanwhile, leads the team in rushing yards (1,052) and rushing touchdowns (16).
Defensively, the team is allowing 14 points per game. The Indians’ defense started off shaky the first four games, giving up at least 20 points in three of those games. But since then, it has been on fire, allowing an average 12 points per game and giving up 20+ points just once. Middle linebacker Corey Dryden has been the quarterback of the defense with a team-leading 103 tackles.

Cowboys Preview
The Cowboys are undefeated and have looked absolutely dominant in their wins, averaging 38 points per game and allowing an average of 10 points per game. Fort White head coach Demetric Jackson described them as a well-coached team. Cowboys quarterback Tre Adams has thrown 19 touchdown passes to just 2 interceptions. Running back Teryon Henderson has provided a ground-attack with 1,357 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns. Defensively, the team is led by defensive lineman Kelvin Kegler who has a ridiculous 20 tackles for a loss.
The game will begin Friday night at 7:30 in Fort White, Florida. The winner will take on the winner of the Trenton-Pahokee game.
